Weeks after releasing his most recent single, "Make Me Want To," Jimmie Allen took to Instagram with a post saying that he was taking a break from music.
"After a lot of thought and prayer I have decided to take a break from music for a while. I’m going to spend some time developing my other passions. Thank you for all of your support."
It caused quite the stir with other verified accounts! Fellow country artist Mitchell Tenpenny chimed in on the comments with "Ha I was about to call and verbally kick your ass! But then I remembered...." and former The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contest Angela Amezcua said "You got me for 0.5 seconds and then I remembered what day it was 🙄😂"
Thankfully today is April 1...aka April Fools Day and we have to admit that Jimmie almost turned into an american heartbreaker. He cleared up the air and PHEW, the music isn't stopping from our former On The Verge artist!
