This month's wedding went off without a hitch for Mike and Dawn Speck of Evergreen, Colorado.
Unless you count the lightning bolt that zapped the groom in his back yard before the ceremony. He says he heard a sizzle, then saw a bright flash that made him feel warm and tingly. Speck didn't have time to worry about the shock.
The lightning also set the neighbor's house on fire, and he had to yank off siding to put the flames out with a garden hose. Paramedics checked Mike out, decided he was fine, and let him go ahead with the vows. The 54-year-old contractor is no stranger to lighting. He walked away from another strike 15 years ago. The Specks got married on 8-8-08, a date they picked for good luck.

Hollywood is certainly paying attention to Olympic superhero Michael Phelps – his story likely will stretch wide through the entertainment industry. And now, even Lindsay Lohan is chiming in.
Back in Athens in 2004, Access Hollywood asked Michael which Hollywood celebrity he’d most like to meet.
“Lindsay Lohan,” he told them. “She’s pretty hot.”
Well, Billy Bush reached out Lindsay for messages to Michael during the Beijing games.
Earlier in the week, Lindsay told Billy to tell Michael, “Good Luck.”
So what did Lindsay tell Billy today to say to Michael, following his 8th gold medal win?
“Tell him he’s amazing, and I want to meet him.”
For Michael’s reaction to Lindsay’s message — not to mention, the surprising reaction from Mama Phelps — tune into Access Hollywood Monday night.
